September 7th, 2010Brazilian President Lula came from a very modest background – leaving for Sao Paulo after finishing fourth grade. As he finishes up his final presidential term, Brazilians are looking squarely at how much the president has done to close the gap between rich and poor and – most importantly – invest in education.
