Unlike rivals Softtek and Neoris – firms that have become ‘household names’ among sourcing decision makers in North America – Hildebrando is a largely unknown entity outside of Mexico. Latin America IT consulting firm Neoris has opened a nearshore outsourcing center in the Brazilian city of Alphaville, in São Paulo state, the company said in a statement.

The initiative is the company’s largest investment in the country, Neoris Brazil president Frederico Vilar previously told BNamericas when he revealed plans for the center. Vilar did not disclose the amount involved, though.

The facility will be integrated with Neoris’ four other nearshore outsourcing centers – located in Rosario (Argentina), Monterrey (Mexico), Madrid (Spain) and Budapest (Hungary).

Eyeing growth in local demand for services and solutions, Neoris expects that some 90% of the services provided at the new facility will be for the domestic market, while only 10% will concern international business.

The 600m2 building contains a software unit and an application management services test center, with a focus on SAP technologies.

The operation center will also comprise a lab …

That demand heated up this week when IT consultancy Neoris announced that it has 60 vacancies in Brazil right now, and specified that “for most of them, it is necessary that the candidate has experience with the SAP platform.”

The new job postings include SAP senior consultant, SAP project manager, SAP workflow analyst, and SAP BI expert. The company said it is also looking for people with Oracle and .NET skills.

Neoris said applicants must be graduates of “colleges linked to technology,” and for some positions must be fluent in English.

The company, ranked one of the largest IT consultancies in Latin America, says it is hiring to keep up with “accelerated growth” in Brazil.

This call for SAP professionals matches what Maria Paula Menezes, manager of the IT division at …
