Neoris CEO on Brazil, Bilingualism and Future Expansion
April 27th, 2012Neoris started as a true Latin American outsourcing company, as a spin-off company of Cemex, one of the biggest businesses from Mexico’s infrastructure industry. Although that beginning occurred very far away from Brazil, a little over a decade after the company started its operation in Brazil, it increasingly focuses its global strategy in the country as one of their biggest opportunities for growth in the world – especially when considering SAP services.
Such attention helps to explain the recent visit of Claudio Muruzabal, global CEO of Neoris, to the SAP Forum recently hosted in São Paulo.
Neoris Announces Mobile App Development Services

Neoris Mobile is also available for the Android platform and can be downloaded on Google’s Play Store. Android currently leads the smartphone market, deeming it mission critical to have apps that run on this platform, according to Neoris’ Mobile Solutions Team.
Since apps are actual applications that are installed on a mobile device, the main features are that they can be accessed without a browser or an Internet connection — major advantages for a remote, agile workforce that requires real-time access to collaboration tools, reports and functionality while on …

Impressively fast growth in the Latin American IT services market is drawing interest from both local and global private equity investors. Claudio Muruzabal, CEO of global business/IT consulting firm Neoris, says this trend will likely accelerate in the near future. “Depending on which statistics you look at, the Latin American IT services market is growing at twice the speed of the global IT services market,” said Muruzabal. “Per se, it is a bigger opportunity in terms of growth.”

An industry conference recently in Monterrey, Mexico showcased the inner-workings of a mature information technology services ecosystem, offering important lessons on how public-private partnerships should be leveraged in driving regional competitiveness. The facility will be integrated with Neoris’ four other nearshore outsourcing centers – located in Rosario (Argentina), Monterrey (Mexico), Madrid (Spain) and Budapest (Hungary).
Eyeing growth in local demand for services and solutions, Neoris expects that some 90% of the services provided at the new facility will be for the domestic market, while only 10% will concern international business.
The 600m2 building contains a software unit and an application management services test center, with a focus on SAP technologies.
The operation center will also comprise a lab …

Our Best Shots: The Nearshore Shines at Gartner
September 12th, 2011We caught up with friends from across CALA yesterday during the reception at the Gartner Outsourcing Conference in Orlando. During the day, at least four Gartner analysts we listened to singled out the Nearshore as the ‘hottest’ outsourcing destination in the world right now. “More than once a day, I hear from either a prospective buyer or provider about this market,” said Cassio Dreyfuss, Gartner’s lead LatAm IT analyst.
