QUERETARO, Mexico – (Business Wire) Patni Computer Systems , a leading global IT and BPO services provider, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, March 12, to unveil a new state-of-the-art IT business center in Queretaro, Mexico, that will expand Patni’s global delivery initiative and serve as the hub of the company’s expansion efforts in Latin American markets.

Patni is moving from its temporary facility into a permanent location in a high-rise building at ITESM Technological Park of Tech de Monterrey. The new center occupies 11,000 square feet on two floors in ITESM Technological Park –- more than eight times the capacity of its temporary location. Patni currently employs 40 in Queretaro. Two of the world’s biggest outsourced services organizations are putting more investment into Latin America, expecting that stable economies, increasingly educated populations and broad language skills will be key factors in long-term growth.

Tata Consultancy Services opened its seventh Latin America site this week in Mexico, while Infosys is also planning to open a services facility in Mexico.

The provider is said to be looking to acquire providers in the region, especially those that posesses multi-lingual capabilities. Infosys Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director S Gopalakrishnan says that Latin America is expected to be among the fastest growing markets in the world.

Meanwhile, Tata has opened its third global delivery centre in Queretaro, Mexico. The other two Mexican centres are in Mexico City and Guadalajara in Jalisco state….
