If you had to guess where the world’s happiest island was, one the many paradise nations in the Caribbean would probably spring to mind.
Well, after a five-year Happiness Index study, it turns out that Aruba takes the crown, with 78% of the Aruban population stating that they are happy.
The findings of the report were revealed this week at Aruba’s first-ever Happiness Conference.
With U.S. firms aiming to turn Aruba into a tech hub, the island is also becoming a viable and attractive place to build tech companies.
Maybe this focus on developing a solid technology ecosystem is what is making everybody so happy…or maybe it’s the endless white sandy beaches and beautiful weather. Perhaps we should visit to find out!
