Aruba: The Happiest Island on Earth

If you had to guess where the world’s happiest island was, one the many paradise nations in the Caribbean would probably spring to mind.
Well, after a five-year Happiness Index study, it turns out that Aruba takes the crown, with 78% of the Aruban population stating that they are happy.
The findings of the report were revealed this week at Aruba’s first-ever Happiness Conference.
With U.S. firms aiming to turn Aruba into a tech hub, the island is also becoming a viable and attractive place to build tech companies.
Maybe this focus on developing a solid technology ecosystem is what is making everybody so happy…or maybe it’s the endless white sandy beaches and beautiful weather. Perhaps we should visit to find out!
