Atento has made a donation of 1.35 million pesos (US$75,000) to the Mexican Red Cross to provide humanitarian support to people who were directly impacted by Mexico’s recent earthquakes.
The company is also providing the necessary support to those employees who have suffered some type of impact by the earthquakes, as it continues to help people return to normalcy.
The earthquakes, which occurred on September 7th and 19th, 2017, toppled dozens of buildings and claimed hundreds of human lives in the capital city and surrounding states.
While the devastation and effects of these earthquakes will resonate in the country for some time, the preparedness of major call center firms to protect and support their people has kept the wheels turning on service delivery.
