Brazil IT: Live, In the Present and Fundamentally Rewriting the Way Sourcing is Done

SAO PAULO: At one time, the joke was that Brazil was permanently “the country of the future” – always waiting to capitalize on its vast and exquisite gifts. Based on what we’re seeing here in Sao Paulo this week, (highlighted by the Brasscom Global IT Summit)  the real measure of this country’s emergence arrives every new minute of every new day. With staggering advances in ICT, Brazilians are not waiting around for external bodies to define their place in the global technology landscape. Instead, there is a palpable sense, Brazil is establishing its own global  category – and arguing in a sense that outsourcing industry stakeholders need to start rethinking the value of third-party services in a wildly transformative business world that fundamentally requires inquiring and innovative partners.
