The Chilean Association of IT Companies (ACTI) names new President

The Chilean Association of IT Companies (ACTI) has announced the appointment of Carlos Busso as its new president.

Busso, the current executive president at ADEXUS, a company that develops and implements technology solutions, was selected unanimously to lead this group of hardware, software, training, system integration and Internet firms in Chile.

Busso will take office on July 24, when the association celebrates its 30th anniversary at an annual industry dinner. He will succeed the current ACTI President Jaime Soto.

“I’m pretty glad to be elected President of ACTI; I believe this is a great responsibility, and I look forward to being able to contribute to the development of the IT industry, where I’ve been working for 40 years,” said Busso in a press release.

Busso added that he would push quicker growth of information technologies so that Chilean companies become more efficient and productive, and Chile develops in the best possible way.
