CI&T Expands in Belo Horizonte With Service Center Launch

The Brazilian firm said it is looking to hire for roles such as data engineer and software developer, and is seeking young graduates with English-language skills, as most of the customers the Belo Horizonte office serves are foreign multinationals.

“It is very important that our talent in Brazil has opportunities to experience an international career, leading our culture of digital transformation to form new multidisciplinary teams and impact great brands in other countries,” said Cesar Gon, CEO and founder of CI&T.

“Furthermore, that they support CI &T’s mission to build multicultural work environments that respect diversity in our international locations.”

CI&T is in the process of launching a similar delivery center in the US Silicon Valley, where it acquired a tech startup Comrade in August 2017, according to a company statement.

The expansion is part of the company’s goal to earn 1 billion Brazilian reals (US$247 million) annually by 2020.

With more than 2,500 employees, CI&T is one of a very few Latin American IT providers running delivery centers in China and Japan. However, 40% of the company’s geographic footprint is in the US, with senior executives expecting this figure to increase to 50% over the next decade.
