Global IT services firm CSS Corp has bulked up in Costa Rica with the launch of yet another delivery center in Tres Ríos, a small town about 12 km east of capital San Jose.
The new 12,260 sq-foot facility will house 200 employees with scope for further expansion. In addition to workstations, the center consists of five technical labs, as well as training centers, recreational areas, and a cafeteria.
Headquartered in Chennai, India, CSS Corp launched operations in Costa Rica in 2013 with a delivery center in Heredia. While multilingual tech support is the major service it provides from Costa Rica, its recent hunt for gamers indicated that the facility is also being used to support gaming consumers.
Manish Tandon, CEO of CSS Corp, says new delivery center is ‘a strategic lever in ramping up support capabilities’ for the company’s global clients.
“The country’s central time zone makes it a perfect location for real-time collaboration,” Tandon said, explaining why his company is bulking up in Costa Rica. “With its rich pool of diversified talent, stable political environment, and ease of access, Costa Rica was an obvious choice for the new center.”
Costa Rica’s president, Luis Guillermo Solis, who inaugurated the facility, said his government is collaborating with productive sectors and business chambers to reinforce competitiveness and attract additional investments.
With more than 5,500 engineers and 16 global locations, CSS Corp is increasingly harnessing the power of AI, automation, analytics, cloud, and digital to address customer needs.
