A new report is projecting the data center construction market in Latin America to grow at an annual growth rate of 14.7% over the next four years. The Research and Markets forecast says that key industry players include Aceco TI, AECOM, Analógica, Constructora Sudamericana, and Turner Construction, which will collectively push forward a sector in need of modernization as cloud computing and Big Data make headway in the region. The report also notes that enterprises in Latin America have begun building green data center facilities to reduce power usage and carbon dioxide emissions. “Considering the lower operational costs over a period, such facilities will gain wide acceptance among enterprises in the region, which bodes well for overall market growth,” said a company analyst.
