Dubai Considering Latin America and Caribbean Markets

Dubai is focusing on new markets in Latin America and the Caribbean as old markets are becoming more stagnant.

The chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Majid Saif Al Ghurair, said old markets are getting increasingly stagnant, according to the Khaleej Times.

“So we look at how to establish relations in new markets. In April, we are taking forum to Latin America which will be helpful for us to explore new markets,” he said while addressing the UAE & Caribbean Cooperation Forum on Sunday.

Sultan Al Mansouri, the UAE’s Minister of Economy, said that there are many sectors the country and the region can benefit from each other’s experience in, including energy, infrastructure, technology and tourism.
