American IT services firm DXC Technology has acquired an Australian customer experience (CX) solutions vendor Bluleader, significantly boosting its SAP CX portfolio.
A winner of SAP 2019 CX Partner award, Bluleader has employed around 80 people and serves over 40 clients across Australia and New Zealand.
Although DXC, based in Tysons, Virginia, has not disclosed the financial details of the deal, analysts say the Australian company’s strong track record in selling and implementing SAP CX solutions made it an attractive buy.
With customer experience at the center of most organizational strategies, this acquisition strengthens DXC’s ability to help clients acquire and retain customers as well as grow market share.
“The acquisition of Bluleader is an integral part of DXC’s commitment to continue to grow and invest in SAP-based customer experience solutions and more broadly our SAP Practice, with the joint strategic goal of achieving our position as the number one SAP partner in Australia and New Zealand,” said Seelan Nayagam, managing director at DXC Technology in Australia & New Zealand.
Once the deal is closed, DXC will likely offer Bluleader’s CX solutions to its clients looking for addressing their CRM, e-commerce and eMarketing needs.
“This combination will enable us to leverage DXC’s market presence, intellectual property and expertise to expand the size and scale of Bluleader as part of DXC Oxygen’s Integrated Practice,” said Robin Apfel, managing director, Bluleader.
