Faces in the Crowd – Oscar Velasco

Based in El Salvador, Oscar Velasco is Global Network Director at Telus International, where he is responsible for global network projects, innovation, planning, and completion, while also developing new talent for the company’s network operations teams.

Prior to his role at Telus International, Oscar spent some time at Stream Global Services as its Global Network Security Engineer, and at Teleperformance as a Telecommunications Coordinator, as well as being a core part of the IT team at Millicom.

Oscar is a highly educated computer science engineer who has spent time volunteering to help young professionals start their own companies. He also volunteers his time to help senior citizens at a day care center in Santa Tecla.
