Faces in the Crowd – Sandy MacLeod

Sandy MacLeod is Chief Operating Officer of Print for Star Media Group, which includes the Toronto Star and the Metro chain of English-language newspapers in Canada.

During his 20-plus years in the industry, Sandy has worked for many of Canada’s largest publishers, including Thomson, Southam, Hollinger, Sun Media, and Torstar, holding senior positions in Circulation, Human Resources, Production, Marketing, and Strategy.

He has received an MBA from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, and a Certificate in Management from the Canadian Institute of Management. Sandy has also served on many leading industry organizations, including INMA, Advertising Standards of Canada, BPA Worldwide, and Newspapers Canada.
