The global IT services and BPO market in the government sector will grow 4.8% from 2014 to 2019, according to a new report from Research and Markets. More growth anywhere is good news for the industry, and this is especially true of an expanding market in the public sector. Governments around the world may finally be catching up and embracing the new, digital future — and willing to invest their budgets. Global giants like IBM, Lockheed Martin, and Oracle, as well as industry leaders like Capgemini, Accenture, and Infosys, contributed insight to the report, which also examines the remaining challenges to greater BPO and IT services penetration into the government sector.
