The global healthcare IT outsourcing market will grow 9.2% from 2014 to 2019, in terms of compound annual growth rate, according to a new report. “To remain competitive in the market, healthcare service providers must devise strategies that will help them increase revenue while minimizing investments,” notes the Research and Market analysis. Brazil is one market ripe for investment, and the report says that companies that fail to capitalize on the trend towards technology could lose revenue due to a lack of innovation, customer dissatisfaction, and poor management. On the other hand, one issue that could continue to constrain healthcare IT outsourcing growth is the risk of data security and computer viruses.
