InterCaribbean Airways Launches Non-stop Flights to Montego Bay

InterCaribbean Airways has announced a new non-stop weekly service from Providenciales, in the northwest Caicos Islands, to Montego Bay on Jamaica‘s north coast.
The new flights will begin operating on December 18th 2016 every Sunday and return every Monday. The service will initially be offered on a once weekly basis.
This new schedule adds to the six existing weekly flights in each direction between Jamaica and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Hon. Edmund Bartlett, welcomed the news, stating that “intra-regional travel has a critical role to play in Jamaica’s efforts to grow visitor arrivals over the current growth rate of 5%.  Cooperation between our sister islands will assist in establishing multi-destination marketing arrangements that give us access to new markets.”
