Caribbean BPO provider Itelbpo has launched a massive effort to support communities in North Bahamas ravaged by the devastating hurricane.
To reach out to the communities, Itelbpo has established a non-profit called 4Ys Foundation, in addition to urging its employees to raise funds for the relief works.
“Living in the Caribbean means a dangerous hurricane could hit at any time during the rainy season,” wrote the company’s Founding Chairman and CEO Yoni Epstein, appealing people to help the victims of the natural disaster.
“It is a reality we have all come to live with, and each year we pray that Jamaica and our neighbors will be spared. As we know, this week The Bahamas was not spared.”
Itelbpo has been present in the Bahamas since 2013, with its employees numbering around 150.
The money raised by the Foundation will be used to provide the victims of the disaster with food, fuel, clean water, and shelter.
