More than four out of five (81%) IT decision makers in a recent survey urged companies to outsource more tech solutions, including cybersecurity projects, in order to free up internal resources to focus on more-vital aspects of the business. This has long been the logic for using third parties, but the Webroot survey results show that the taboo world of cybersecurity endeavors is becoming equally fit to be handled externally. “SMBs play a pivotal role in helping drive the economies of all the countries polled, but past experiences have taught them they face an uphill battle when it comes to cybersecurity,” said George Anderson of Webroot via MSPMentor. “This perception must change.”
