MRM Merges with Brazilian Digital Agency E/OU

Digital marketing agency MRM, a unit of the McCann Worldgroup, has acquired Brazilian digital and CRM services agency, E/OU. The two companies will now be merged under the name E/OU MRM.

“With a stellar creative reputation and high-growth potential, E/OU fits well within MRM’s global strengths and perfectly complements our current offerings across the network,” stated MRM’s President Michael Mclaren, adding that the new company will be operated by its existing staff in Brazil.

The merged firm will offer services across Latin America, where MRM’s clients include several major firms such as Nestle, Nike and Regus.

“Becoming a vital new part of MRM strengthens our position in Brazil and around the region, and expands our creative possibilities,” said Eduardo Rodrigues, VP-Creative Director at E/OU.

For McCann Worldgroup, this is the second major acquisition in the region after it bought Preview, an agency specializing in health and wellness communications.

Founded in 2003, E/OU offers multiple services, including digital, direct, relationship and CRM services. It has about 80 employees and its major clients include  Santander, Qualicorp, BASF, Michelin, Universidade Metodista and AC Camargo.
