The team at Nearshore Americas is pleased to announce the placement of a new Managing Editor, César Cantú, a well-regarded Mexican journalist who began leading the group’s editorial operation last week.
César specializes in business journalism, and has covered a wide range of beats, including foreign trade policy, agribusiness, telecommunications, tech, energy and labor rights. “The addition of Cesar comes at a real ideal moment of transition for Nearshore Americas, as we begin to take a more dedicated approach to multimedia reporting and other styles of business story-telling,” says Kirk Laughlin, Founder and Managing Director of Nearshore Americas.
During his career, César has consulted and interviewed some of Mexico’s top government officials, business leaders, legal experts, economists and industry analysts. This has provided him with a privileged look into the workings of the economy and trade flows in Mexico and across the Americas.
His skillset and experience will provide NSAM with stories on how the tech transformation and the reconfiguration of both trade and investment flows is impacting the Nearshore industry.
César’s always up for a conversation, whether that be an interview or a casual chat. Feel free to reach out to him through his email (cesar@nextcoastmedia.com) or his LinkedIn profile. You can also find him on Twitter.
