Nexus 2022 is officially in the books, but there’s still much to talk about as we look back at those two days in which a who’s who of the BPO/IT services industry gathered among the skyscrapers of Midtown Manhattan.
After a two-year absence, Nexus made its return in full force, showcasing the best the industry has to offer and opening the floor to discuss the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Nearshore community and what can be expected in the immediate future.
Described by Jennifer McCarthy (Business Development Operations Manager at Tech Cayman) as a “boutique-style conference”, the event gave attendees the chance to finally meet in person and talk business face-to-face. It also provided them with some of the sharpest, freshest and most useful insights into the latest developments of the BPO industry, courtesy of a group of expert panelists and speakers.
Global BPO advisor and Ryan Strategic Advisory Principal, Peter Ryan, graced Nexus 2022 with the adjective “legendary” during the event. Seeing how the industry has grown by leaps and bounds in a few years, and considering what is expected for it in the near future, the word seems to be a perfect fit.
