Transparent BPO to Build Belize’s Biggest Call Center

Nearshore call center services provider Transparent BPO has announced it will build yet another delivery center in Belize, with plans to add 465 agents to its workforce in the Central American country.

With 32,900 square feet of floor space, this will be the largest BPO facility in Belize.

If everything goes according to plan, the new call center will be up and running by the end of 2019. The BPO provider has given the contract of constructing the facility to local property developer VP Holdings.

With more than 1500 employees, Transparent is one of the largest private sector employers in the small country with extensive Caribbean coastline.

“The building is designed in such a way that everything and everyone can function at the highest level possible,” says Rob Johnson, VP of global operations at Transparent.

“For instance, in addition to standard break rooms located near agent work areas, there will be multiple food vendors with a large covered outside area right outside so that agents can enjoy the great Belizean weather and beautiful view of the water. Also, every floor will have its own training and calibration rooms, as well as offices clients can reserve on an as needed basis.”

Founded in 2009, Transparent BPO currently runs two call centers in the Central American country, with most of its revenue coming from US-based clients.
