Vangtel Nearshoring Solutions, a major BPO site selection services firm in Mexico, has changed its name to Intugo. The new name helps rebrand the business with the image of a modern global service provider, says the firm which is based in Tucson, Arizona.
Intugo makes its money by helping companies set up their own software development, call center or back office operations in low-cost countries, particularly in Mexico.
In a press release, Intugo says that in recent years it has helped dozens of small and medium-sized businesses launch operations in major Mexican cities including Obregon, Hermosillo and Guadalajara.
From staffing and payroll to human resources to office facilities, Intugo provides everything businesses need to launch operations in distant locations.
Several American firms have signed up for its “shelter plan” to expand operations to Hermosillo, Sonora – a Mexican town about one hour by plane from the U.S. cities of Los Angeles and Phoenix.
“We can help a company establish a small operation with no set-up fee within 30 to 45 days,” says Larry Carlson, Intugo’s marketing manager.
The growing popularity of cloud technology seems to have bolstered Intugo, which offers to help reduce operating costs by about 50%.
In Mexico, which Carlson says offers “top bilingual” talent, Intugo pulls together potential employees and allows clients to choose their staff. A subsidiary of The Offshore Group, Intugo also provides training to its client’s employees and shoulders the task of protecting clients’ intellectual property.
