Wipro Lands IT Transformation Project with Major Argentina Firm

BusinessWire: Wipro Technologies, the global Consulting, System Integration and Outsourcing business of Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT), today announced that it has been chosen as a strategic partner for completing the implementation of Oracle JDEdwards Enterprise One 9.0 for Groupo Arcor, the world’s leading candy manufacturers and one of the largest companies in Latin America.

The program called ‘Antares Program’ spans over a period of 4 years and is planned to incorporate a global & unique business process model in one single instance across all geographies & businesses of Arcor. Groupo Arcor was earlier running their business in multiple instances of Oracle JDEdwards comprised of various modules of Oracle JDEdwards across finance, manufacturing and costing.
