Latin American IT consulting firm Xertica has reached an agreement to acquire its Mexican rival Blein Consulting, according to a report by Mexican daily El Economista.
Xertica is expecting to make US$34 million in annual revenue after the deal, with analysts saying it will boost it’s revenue by US$4 million.
As a result of the acquisition, Xertica becomes a Salesforce partner, greatly widening its portfolio of cloud solutions.
In a statement, Antonio Couttolenc, CEO of Xertica, has claimed that his company would be among the leading IT consultancy firms enabling digital transformation in the region through the cloud.
Founded around 13 years ago, Blein Consulting implements CRM projects for corporate companies, with most of its clients belonging to the finance, retail, and manufacturing sectors.
The CRM market in Latin America is worth around US$3 billion, according to IDC, with Mexico alone accounting for one third of this revenue.
One of the first Latin American companies to receive investment from Salesforce Ventures, Xertica has recently raised funds to double down on its investments in new technologies, particularly big data, machine learning and analytics.
With more than 200 employees, the company claims to have served more than 3,000 companies in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Argentina.
