Hightekers Acquires Mexico City-based Rival Serviap

London-based workforce management firm Hightekers has expanded its presence in Latin America through the acquisition of Serviap Global, a Mexico City–headquartered specialist in cross-border employment services.

Serviap focuses on Employer of Record (EOR) and contractor management services, enabling companies to hire, onboard and pay workers in foreign markets without establishing a local legal entity.

Founded in 2010, the company claims to be operating in more than a dozen LatAm countries, though it has not publicly disclosed the full list of countries in which it operates.

The acquisition strengthens Hightekers’ ability to meet rising demand for compliant cross-border hiring, as more organizations expand internationally and require local expertise in labour laws, tax regulations and payroll administration.

Employer of Record providers act as the legal employer on behalf of client companies, taking responsibility for employment contracts, payroll processing and regulatory compliance.
