Staffing and back-office services firm SGF Global is strengthening its footprint in Argentina, aiming to tap into the country’s highly regarded technology talent pool.
The Florida-based BPO provider reportedly operates an office in Buenos Aires, although it has not disclosed hiring targets for the expansion.
The move comes on the heels of SGF Global’s strategic acquisitions in South America. In mid-2024, the company took over the regional operations of Swiss HR giant Adecco in Uruguay and Ecuador.
Adecco’s services in Uruguay included project management, recruitment process outsourcing, and corporate training.
Following the acquisition, SGF Global announced it would prioritize employer of record solutions and introduce nearshoring services that were previously unavailable in those markets.
Industry observers say Argentina’s skilled IT workforce and competitive labor costs make it a key destination for global outsourcing. SGF Global is believed to be capitalizing on this by targeting tech professionals for roles in software development, cloud services, and digital transformation.
The company’s leadership has consistently stressed the strategic importance of building talent networks across Latin America, saying a diverse workforce allows them reduce costs and increase client satisfaction.
