TCS Bags Multiyear Canada Life Contract

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has secured a multi-year contract with Canada Life to modernize and manage the insurer’s technology infrastructure across the UK and Europe.

Under the agreement, TCS will oversee Canada Life’s data centers, end-user computing environment and software lifecycle management, while supporting the insurer’s broader technology transformation efforts.

The partnership comes as Canada Life accelerates its expansion across Europe, driven by rising demand for retirement, wealth management and pension products amid the region’s aging population.

“We are delighted to be selected as the strategic partner for Canada Life’s technology modernization journey across the UK and Europe,” said Vinay Singhvi, Head of UK & Ireland at TCS.

Caroline Dibbs, Chief Information & Transformation Officer for Europe at Canada Life, said the collaboration would help deliver long-term improvements in technology services and business capabilities.

As part of the deal, TCS said it will expand its infrastructure services workforce across the UK, Ireland, the Isle of Man and Germany, investing in employee training, certification and career development programs.

The contract represents an important win for TCS in Europe, where Indian IT firms are increasingly seeking growth opportunities as discretionary technology spending remains subdued in North America.
