The Costa Rican office will play a dual role: supporting ActiveCampaign’s technology platform with software updates and delivering customer service to Spanish-speaking clients.
Local universities Ulacit and Universidad Juan Pablo II are among the company’s first Costa Rican customers.
This expansion follows ActiveCampaign’s acquisition of OneSend in October 2023, which reportedly solidified the company’s marketing automation platform. The technology platform, used mainly by resellers and multi-location businesses to reach out to new customers, is a major source of revenue for the firm.
“ActiveCampaign’s arrival brings exciting opportunities for Costa Rica’s tech sector,” said CINDE, the country’s investment promotion agency. “They will introduce diverse technologies, including the programming language YAML, which is a significant asset not commonly found here. This knowledge transfer will enrich our local ecosystem.”
ActiveCampaign’s global footprint also includes offices in Brazil, Sydney (Australia) and Dublin (Ireland), where its headcount doubled in just one year.
