Brazil’s Softexpert Aims for Eurozone with Exeq Acquisition

Brazilian software company SoftExpert acquired a controlling stake in European firm Exeq, aiming to capitalize on the growing demand for process automation in the region.

Exeq’s operations in Portugal will be converted into a shared services center, acting as a hub for delivering SaaS solutions to clients throughout Europe and Africa.

SoftExpert cites Portugal’s Eurozone membership, skilled workforce and strong infrastructure as key reasons for choosing this location for expansion.

“Europe is the ideal place to combine technology and human capital to meet compliance and process automation demands,” the company said in a statement.

This acquisition is part of SoftExpert’s growth strategy, which includes establishing a presence in 20 countries over the next five years. The company recently expanded into Argentina and Colombia, and already has a solid presence in Mexico.

Exeq, a long-term partner of SoftExpert, has played a crucial role in sales and implementation services in the European market. The acquisition is a natural extension of their successful collaboration.
