Globant Hires Bob Kerner as EVP of its Global Operations

Argentine software producer Globant has named digital technology veteran Bob Kerner as executive vice president of its global operations. The news comes at a time Globant is preparing to list on the New York Stock Exchange to raise about of $86.3 million.

Prior to Euronext – where Kerner devised a digital strategy and put in place an agile culture – Bob served as Chief Architect for AOL, where he built large-scale, high-volume systems. He also worked at Lockheed Martin, designing state-of-the-art navigation and combat systems for nuclear submarines.

“We want to improve our relationship with our customers, delivering better, more innovative and higher quality products, and Bob will be key to help us achieve that goal,” said Martín Migoya, Globant CEO and co-founder.

Globant develops software and provides IT services for clients such as American Express, Coca-Cola, Disney, Electronic Arts, Google, JP Morgan Chase & Co., LinkedIn, National Geographic and Zynga. Recently, the company has become one of the main ITO service providers in Latin America.

Trained as an engineer, Kerner holds BS degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University and an MS degree in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University.
