Indian IT provider HCL Tech has partnered with its American rival Neoris, as they have planned to explore each other’s market for IT services.
Considering their statement, they will cross-sell their products and services in addition to working together to develop new technology solutions.
HCL has stated that the collaboration strengthens its operations in Latin America, Mexico in particular. “We are delighted to offer this unique program to our clients in Latin America who are seeking ways to optimize their teams through best-in-class technology solutions,” said Ajay Bahl, corporate vice president, HCL Technologies.
“Our collaboration will also contribute to our continuous effort to build a great talent pool in Mexico to deliver industry-best service and capabilities to our customers.”
Although headquartered in the US city of Miami, a large majority of Neoris workers are based in Spanish-speaking countries. It runs as many as five delivery centers in Argentina alone, three each in Mexico and Spain, and one each in Chile, Colombia, and Peru. There is a small office of Neoris in the Indian city of Gurgaon as well.
“HCL Technologies and NEORIS will work together to find new business opportunities in a united effort, one where NEORIS will provide the best talent with the best skills in the market to reduce costs, time, and risk,” said Marcelo Costa, global head of strategic alliances at NEORIS.
With more than US$11 billion in annual revenue, HCL tech is one of the largest IT services firms in India. It employs nearly 200,000 people across dozens of offices in as many as 52 countries around the globe.
