Nexus 2024: Chasing the Dream of Caribbean 3.0

The Caribbean is much more than sun, sand and ocean breeze. A handful of global investors know it, and they’re happy with that knowledge. The Caribbean, however, hopes for something more. It hopes for an upgrade.

The dream of “Caribbean 3.0” has been roaming the heads of regional stakeholders for a while. The idea is to leverage the changes brought up by remote work, AI and other disruptors to turn the region intro a true hub for the exportation of global digital services.

Success has been varied, and there are still several challenges to overcome, both internal and external. However, it does feel like the Caribbean is changing; gradually, and for the better.
