One of Latin America’s leading IT service provider – Softtek – has acquired Systech Integrators, a Silicon Valley-based SAP solutions vendor.
Softtek has not disclosed the financial details of the deal. San Jose, CA-based Systech offers end-to-end solutions and services in support of SAP applications, including implementation, business consulting, hosting and application management services.
The merger further bolsters Softtek’s SAP solutions portfolio, which accounts for a third of the company’s revenue.
Systech has a delivery center in India and also a strong and innovative workforce. Following the merger, Systech’s co-founder and CEO Sam Tyagi will head the Softtek’s ERP practice for North America.
“We are thrilled about the new opportunities that lie ahead by joining Softtek,” said Tyagi, adding that the combined capabilities, experience and geographic scope will unequivocally provide new avenues to deliver SAP software-based innovations to the market.
This is Softtek’s second acquisition in six months after the company bought SCAi, another provider of SAP-based industry solutions, in the second half of last year.
“We have one of the strongest offerings for SAP solutions in the Americas, and now an even stronger Global Nearshore model,” commented Blanca Treviño, President and CEO of Softtek.
Founded in 1982, Softtek has 30 offices across the world.
