Ukrainian IT Firm N-iX lands in Medellin

Ukrainian IT services provider N-iX landed in Latin America, opening a delivery center in the Colombian city of Medellin.

The company, which is today headquartered in Valetta, Malta, is looking to hire at least 60 software engineers by the end of the year. In the coming years, it plans to increase its headcount by 30% annually.

“We are looking for talented and motivated engineers who are eager to work on challenging and innovative projects,” said Erika Gutiérrez, N-iX Delivery Location Director in Colombia. “We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a chance to work with some of the leading companies in the world.”

N-iX was founded in Lviv, Ukraine, in 2002. It began as an app developer for Novell Inc., a software services firm based in Provo, Utah. A year later, it started providing software development services to other companies. Initially, its customers were mostly small businesses, but starting in 2005, it began to attract larger clients, such as StreamServe and OpenText.

Today, N-iX operates as many as 23 delivery centers in Europe alone, employing around 2,000 professionals.

Its clients include eBay, Office Depot, Seeking Alpha and Currency Cloud. The company has delivery centers located across Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria and Malta, in addition to the US and Ukraine.
