Nearshore IT services provider Softtek has announced a leadership transition, appointing David Jiménez as Chief Executive Officer, a role held for over 26 years by Blanca Treviño.
Treviño will move into the position of Executive President while continuing as Chair of the Board. The changes are set to take effect in the first week of October, the company said in a statement.
Under the new structure, Jiménez will be responsible for executing corporate strategy and managing day-to-day operations. Treviño, as Executive President, will focus on long-term strategic direction and maintain oversight of key institutional relationships.
The company said the decision to separate the roles is aimed at ensuring sharper focus and dedicated leadership across operational and strategic functions, thereby strengthening its executive structure.
Jiménez, a 15-year veteran at Softtek, began his career in the finance function before moving into sales leadership roles in Mexico. Over the past five years, he has served as Managing Director of the company’s global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) business unit.
Commenting on the appointment, Treviño said Jiménez brings deep institutional knowledge along with the leadership capability required to guide the company’s next phase of growth.
Softtek employs more than 15,000 professionals and operates delivery centers across Brazil, the United States, Spain and China, in addition to its headquarters in Mexico.
