Nearshore BPO provider Allied Global accelerated growth in its home country with the inauguration of its seventh delivery center in Guatemala City.
This expansion signals a strategic shift towards technology services. The company is actively recruiting engineers specializing in software development, data analysis, cybersecurity and cloud computing.
“This expansion allows us to explore new professional fields,” said Manuel Gordo, CEO of Allied Global in a press release. “It’s an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking in-demand careers in the technology sector.”
Local media reports suggest Allied Global aims to leverage Guatemala’s skilled workforce to address the talent shortage faced by clients in the Americas and Europe.
The company said it will expand its offerings to include technology staffing services, capitalizing on the remote work trend.
“Many jobs can be done remotely, and Guatemala has a wealth of talent to fill them,” emphasized Allied’s CEO.
With its new facility, Allied Global positions itself to redefine the future of nearshore staff augmentation services.
Founded in 2005, Allied Global boasts a network of call centers across Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, the United States, Canada and the Philippines.
