Call center firm Alorica Inc has promoted its Chief Operating Officer Greg Haller to the position of chief executive, with founder Andy Lee choosing to limit his role to executive chairman.
Greg, who joined the Irvine, Calif-based BPO provider in 2018, seems to have won appreciation from the owners after he successfully implemented the company’s work-at-home solution, known as Alorica Anywhere.
“I can think of no better leader than Greg to steer Alorica into the next phase of our mission to enable companies around the world to achieve outcomes critical to their business strategies,” Lee said in a statement.
“His deep understanding of our clients’ priorities, expertise in operational excellence, and outcome-driven mindset for navigating industry change assure Greg is the ideal leader at the helm for Alorica today and into our digital future.”
Alorica Anywhere is a digital platform that eases the task of hiring and training employees working remotely.
Alorica received a shot in its arm in 2020 when alternative investment management firm Apollo Global invested US$750 million in the company, freeing it to focus on expanding its human resources and technology solutions.
The company has since been hiring numerous workers around the Americas.
The call center firm has operations in seven Nearshore countries, including Guatemala, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Panama, Jamaica, Colombia, and Uruguay.
