Tucked away in a quiet corner of Colonia Roma Norte in Mexico City, Campobaja is a little slice of Baja California serving tasty seafood dishes in the country’s capital.
While you can find almost all flavors here — raw, cooked, hot, spicy, sweet, you name it — some favorites include the seafood burritos, tuna tostadas, and mini crab tacos. If you have a sweet tooth, the lemon cheesecake is incredibly light and fluffy and comes with a delicious hibiscus sauce.
The atmosphere in this open, terrace-style restaurant is pretty lively, with a covered and uncovered section, the latter of which has a cool cocktail bar for those pre-party starters.
