Chinese IT/BPO firm Beyondsoft Consulting acquired Brazilian cloud solutions vendor 4MSTech.
The Beijing-based corporation, which already has operations in Costa Rica, is making a concerted effort to access the Latin American IT talent pool in order to service American customers.
With just 80 employees, 4MSTech is no doubt a modest IT firm. Beyondsoft hopes to double the headcount by the end of the year.

4MSTech’s CEO, Eduardo Mecking, will lead Beyondsoft’s Brazilian operations. He previously worked for Motorola and Microsoft, founding 4MSTtech seven years ago alongside former Silicon Valley colleagues.
4MSTech offers security and managed services in addition to Microsoft cloud computing solutions to companies such as Hortifruti, Raizen and IRB.
“We chose 4MSTech because it has Microsoft as its main strategic partner,” stated Christiano Knott, a former Microsoft executive whom Beyondsoft hired in Germany late last year.
A publicly traded technology firms in China, Beyondsoft makes around US$1 billion in revenue annually, with its global workforce exceeding 30,000.
It formed a cooperation with iTexico in 2019 to seek Mexican tech talent. Once the Mexican company was sold, Beyondsoft opened a nearshore services center in San Jose, Costa Rica.
