Cicatriz Cafe Serves Up A Taste of New York in Mexico City

Situated in the up and coming, trendy neighborhood of Juarez in Mexico City, Cicatriz Cafe is a cozy spot for top-quality coffee, delicious comfort food, home baked cakes, and even some cheeky evening cocktails.

Owned and operated by US siblings Scarlet and Jake, the cafe’s biggest draws are its niche ambiance and Stateside inspired menu, featuring some mouth-watering meatballs, fried chicken sandwiches, avocado toast, and the more Spanish-themed Torta de Huevo.

Thanks to its stacked back bar, the cocktail fare is also strong. The Black Hole, Yoko, and Lover’s Rock are particularly standout options for those with a more adventurous palette.

You can find the cafe on Dinamarca 44 in Colonia Juarez, open from 9am to 11pm every day.
