It finally happened. CrossConnect Forum is in the books, and new paths are already opening for the trade of tech services between Europe and the Caribbean and Latin America region (CALA).
With the participation of over 20 industry experts and representation of a wide range of countries –from CALA and Western Europe to Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe– CrossConnect delivered a new vision for profitable trade relationship across the Atlantic.
“I believe that, on the back of this event, it will be a catalyst for growth from Europe to the Caribbean and Latam in the long run”, commented Neil Sturrock, Global Customer Support Director at Wave Mobile Money.
Despite the gloomy Shoreditch weather, entrepreneurs, industry observers and investment promotion officials remained cheerful during the event, exchanging experiences and points of view about the future of CALA-European trade.
“I had a great time discussing the value proposition of Central American and Latin American locations for global services sourcing and sharing my point of view on the increasing need to include the CALA region in global delivery portfolio”, commented Rohitashwa Aggarwal, Partner at Everest Group and a panelist at the event.
“The discussion was engaging, and we had a great time exploring the opportunities and challenges of operating in the Caribbean region”, added Vivion Scully, Head of Global Digital Services at JAMPRO. “As someone with experience in the Caribbean region, I am excited to see the growing interest in this market and look forward to working with companies to help them tap into the vast potential of the Caribbean for their BPO needs”.
Described as “an amazing effort” by Nora Zamora (Chief Client Officer at Sibú Digital), CrossConnect Forum has laid the groundwork for what is already shaping up to be a hotbed for new business relationships.
