Global technology outsourcing services provider CSS Corp is gearing up to set up delivery centers in Costa Rica and China. The plans to set up delivery centers was announced by the company’s CEO Tiger Ramesh at a media conference in Chennai last week.
According to the company’s website, however, the BPO provider already has a center in operation in Costa Rica. CSS Corp has not disclosed when it would officially launch the center. Nevertheless, according to local media reports, CSS Corp is planning to participate in Expoempleo, a Costa Rica job fair slated for September this year.
CSS Corp is headquartered in California, but a majority of its employees appear to be working in India.
The BPO provider has been making headlines in the past few weeks. The company has recently reshuffled its management team inducting several senior executives from Infosys. Last month, an international private equity firm, Partners Group, acquired a majority stake in the company for $270 million. According to Ramesh, Partners Group holds a 79 per cent stake in CSS.
CSS Corp has named former Infosys employee Suranjan Pramanik as its chief sales officer for its American operations, while Raj Reddy and Purnima Menon have joined the team as chief HR officer and marketing officer, respectively.
“With the new management team in place, we are looking forward to becoming a $1 billion company over the next five years,” said Ramesh, according to India’s Hindu newspaper.
Founded in 1996, CSS Corp has 13 delivery centers in 13 locations worldwide and a team of over 5,400 professionals.
