Faces in the Crowd – Ron Chmara

With more than 30 years of experience in the BPO industry, Ron Chmara is currently CEO at Emerge BPO, which he joined earlier this year.

Based in London, Canada, Ron works remotely, but also spends plenty of time in Guyana, Boston, and other US locations as the company expands across the region. 

Ron started his career as a telephone operator, before spending 27 years working for Canada’s largest telco, Bell, after he graduated. He also spent many years at Percepta, where he helped the company expand into Thailand, Mexico, China, and Africa to achieve record profits.

According to the Emerge BPO website, Ron “believes in the value that each and every individual brings to the job and has always maintained an “open door” philosophy”.
