Global66 to Invest $3.2M in Argentina, Establish Tech Hub

Chilean fintech Global66 will invest US$3.2 million to set up an innovation center in Buenos Aires, aiming to make Argentina the company’s primary technology hub for Latin America.

Founded in 2018, Global66 operates across Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, and Ecuador, offering cross-border digital banking services through its Global Account product, which reaches more than 70 countries.

The company handles over US$200 million annually in transactions within Argentina alone.

The new investment includes a 450 m² office in Buenos Aires, expansion of its 60-member team, and the recruitment of a Country Manager. Currently, 25% of Global66’s tech workforce is already based in Argentina.

“The Argentine office has already become a technological hub for the entire region, thanks to the quality of work done by Argentine professionals,” said Martín Castiglioni, Regional Manager of Global66.
