GTA Acquires Mexico’s IT and Telecom Solutions Provider Intech

Global Technology Associates (GTA) has agreed to acquire a Mexican IT and IP solutions provider Intech Group for an undisclosed price. Based in Saltillo, Intech has pioneered the concept of ‘high technology competence centers’ in northern Mexican regions bordering the United States.

Intech collaborates with universities and institutes of higher learning to foster innovation in Mexican student communities. As a technology solutions vendor, Intech claims it has created several innovative products for local telecom, finance, education and manufacturing industries.

Its IP solutions include Net PBX, Net Centrex, IP Class 5 services and Voice Media Server capabilities. Its services portfolio includes customized software development, installation, integration and technical consulting services.

The acquisition widens GTA’s footprint in Mexico and its roaster of clients, besides bolstering its expertise in software solutions. In its statement, GTA said it might even use Intech’s facilities to offer IT and telecom offshoring services for US and other Latin American clients.

Founded in 2002, Intech brings a portfolio of complementary solutions and services including Managed Software Development Services and several proprietary products developed to work with cloud based IP networking architecture. Intech’s products include DevOps, a solution for technical and business process automation, and IMS IP Centrex, a unified communication product.

“The acquisition advances GTA’s international expansion strategy in the Latin American market,” stated GTA, adding that it would soon integrate Intech’s products and services into its portfolio. “Our combined worked force will also increase our expertise in the new areas of IT and IP engineering services and products,” said Dee Alipanah, GTA’s CEO.
