Belize-based contact center company Halo BPO has started hiring remote workers across the country.
In a recent Facebook post, the company announced that employees can work from any location in Belize, earning US$9 per hour.
However, workers are expected to manage their own infrastructure and must have minimum internet speeds of 85 Mbps download and 45 Mbps upload.
The company also offers commissions, performance bonuses, weekly payments, and a flexible work setup, describing the role as “more than a paycheck — a gateway to being part of Belize’s growing digital economy.”
Although detailed public information about Halo BPO remains limited, the firm is among several home-grown BPOs in Belize providing remote sales and customer service support.
Belize’s BPO industry primarily serves U.S. clients, leveraging the country’s English-speaking workforce with neutral accents.
The sector also benefits from government incentives, including 20 years of tax exemption for foreign BPO vendors and duty-free import of telecommunications equipment — policies that continue to attract investment and expand the country’s outsourcing potential.
