BPO provider Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) acquired two of its smaller rivals (TekLink International and Uknowva), aiming to”reimagine the CX journey” for its customers, according to company officials.
Warrenville-based TekLink employs around 250 data analysts across two delivery centers in the Indian cities of Hyderabad and Indore, but a large majority of its clients are in Europe and the United States.
HGS said it spent US$ 58.8 million for the acquisition and that TechLink will soon be folded into its digital business, which currently has a workforce of 750 professionals.
In addition to data analytics, TechLink also offers product design and application management services.
Despite being a small company with just under 75 employees, uKnowva specializes in using artificial intelligence in HR and payroll outsourcing services. Its cloud-based SaaS platform is quite popular in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
“We continue to build an end-to-end ecosystem of innovative solutions that support every touchpoint in the consumer journey,” said HGS CEO Partha DeSarkar.
“The synergies will help us strengthen our existing digital portfolio substantially, expand in new rapidly growing segments, co-create solutions and cross-sell to clients.”
