BPO vendor Ibex is celebrating over a decade of opertions in the Filipino city of Davao by opening another CX facility.
Ibex announced its second contact center in Davao, a city located in the island of Mindanao, in the southeastern corner of the whole archipielago. The company set up its first CX facility in the city 11 years ago, an operation which launched with only 50 agents. Today, that very same contact center hosts more than 1,700 agents.
Ibex currently employs over 14,000 workers across the Philippines. The company has contact centers in Quezon City, Mandaluyong, Pasig City, Parañaque, Muntinlupa and Tagbilaran City. The new facility in Davao will be its ninth in the country.
“We continue to experience strong demand globally from both new and existing clients,” said Ibex CEO Bob Dechant, highlighting the driver behind the company’s expansion.
Ibex serves a wide range of clients across industries, including healthcare, technology, retail, e-commerce, fintech, insurance, shipping and logistics. Many of its major customers are based in the US.
Ibex operates multiple offices in Nicaragua, Honduras, and Jamaica. Nearly half of its global workforce, however, is based in the Philippines.
